April Blogging Challenge - 1

As you might have guessed by the title of the post, yes I am participating in the April Blogging A-Z Challenge which starts from today. Apart from the lovely group of blogger friends I have who encouraged me to participate in this, I would also like to thank Arlee Bird for this wonderful and innovative concept.

We begin with the first alphabet today : A

The 3 Important As of life:
  • Absorb – Absorb every learning that comes your way. Every incident good or bad has some lesson hidden in it. Mistakes teach you how to avoid them in future and success teaches you to remember the hard work that went behind it.
  • Adapt – Adapt to all the changes that life brings along.
  • Aspire – Keep aspiring – it’s what keeps the fire burning.

P.S: For more details of it please check out HERE.

Books on Cinema

For a long time, cinema was a world I wasn’t allowed to enter. I grew up in a home where movies were banned. No television, no glimpses of silver screens, and no songs echoing from old classics. For nearly a decade, cinema was a forbidden word like a secret behind a closed door.  And yet, like all things that carry truth and longing, it found its way to me. Stories have a way of finding you, slipping through cracks, whispered between pages, caught in melodies. Sometimes through the corners of borrowed books, sometimes through whispered summaries from classmates, sometimes just through the magnetic pull of posters and songs I wasn’t supposed to hear.
