Time for change!

Source:  BoomTown Last weekend I completed seven years of reviewing books on this blog. I spent some time looking back and was overjoyed to see the titles which I have been able to read all through these years. The authors who have graced my blog with their thoughts in the form of guest-posts and interviews - I am so thankful to each one of them for their insights. And I am thankful to you, dear reader, for being there!

A beginning..

There are moments in life when you should be dreaming and then there are times when you should be living those dreams. The last year in particular has been one where I have seen a lot of my dreams come true , the recent one being: You can buy this book from HERE Yes! My first official project as an editor. Ghost editing projects and then doing it officially where you are duly credited for the work in public domain are two different things and for me this is one such beginning. a small, humble one but one that sets the ball rolling for me.For me my blog has always been the place I share everything my laughters and my tears. So how can I miss out on sharing that is something so precious a milestone for me. Cheers to this one and here's hoping for many more to come!

Being a Womaniya!

As a child I used to adore my mom’s friends every time they come home. The cackling laughter, the infectious joy on their faces... some there since her childhood together in every step that they took.   I grew up dreaming of having such friends around me – my besties with whom I could be myself and share the dirtiest secret without a cringe. But somehow that never happened! I had friends who were more like “girls” and perhaps I wasn’t like one. Well to let you know am those types who when under trouble instead of shouting for HELP! Would actually beat the hell out of the trouble to make it whim HELP!!     Source: Google Images

Celebrating joy!

"I have dreamt in my life, dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they have gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind. And this is one: I'm going to tell it - but take care not to smile at any part of it. ”  ―  Emily Brontë ,  Wuthering Heights Source: Google Images

Thought for TODAY: 31st December 2012

This year was like a roller coaster ride for each one of us. I happened to add a lot of people into my life in terms of entry and exit both. Some were like winters - they left me feeling all cold. Some were like the summer - they spread warmth all around my heart. Some were like the monsoon - who drenched me in the rain of their love and then moved away like the passing cloud. While there were some like the sky, walking along with me, in each step telling me "I am there." Each one of them truly matters as they made me what I am today. They taught me a lot of things and left me with some good and bad memories both. I have had some wonderful times with each of you and I truly cherish them. So, whether you are winter, summer, monsoon or the sky, here's a huge THANK YOU from Me to you for everything! Source: Google Images
