Metro Diaries : Get Set and Go.....

It is one thing to sit night after night to write stories and it is another to finally see it in the form of a book. When I began writing the Metro Diaries I never knew the number of hearts it would touch for I wrote because I felt the need to share those stories. From blogposts to a book the journey has been nothing short of enthralling and yes today when I am just few hours away from holding it in my hands I am speechless. Yesss!! The book is finally ready for release and the pre-order links are now open here: Flipkart: http://bit.ly/1CCN7i0 Amazon : http://bit.ly/1zKcsC7 Seeking your love as always!

Dream On Dreamer

I am an eternal dreamer, that's how I like to call myself. For I dream a lot. I dream small, I dream big, I dream about laughter and I dream about tears too. But it is these dreams that somewhere tell me what my heart wishes for as it is said " Dreams are wishes made by your hearts!" Source: Google Images

All that I am is a writer....

Source: Google Images When I began blogging I had heard it many times that there is a lot of difference between  bloggers and writers. I always disagreed to this for I believe each one of us is a writer. We could be scribbling in our diary, blogging, writing poetry or having full fledged novels to our credit. We write and that is what matters. Today after 2.5 years of blogging when my first book is about to release ( You can read about it HERE) It leaves me with mixed emotions when the word AUTHOR is also attached to me. As a blogger I have been interviewed many times but as an author this is my first time and "firsts" are always special. Nothing can be more special for Me than this. I would like to thank Gina Mcknight for making this experience all the more special for me by hosting me on her blog with an interview. A lover of words, paper, and memoirs - We ll this is what she has to say about Me; to read the full interview click HERE . Thank you so muc...

A moment in time to be relived

When I began writing 2.5 years ago little did I know what was in store for me. I began writing for the love of it and things just kept happening. From being a scared blogger who had a secret blog to someone who let the blog go public. From someone who could never write stories to being called as someone whose middle name should be LOVE purely for the love stories I write. From 0 to 100+ followers in one blog with 1 lakh hits and 400+ posts , it has truly been an exciting journey!

A moment when God said AMEN

In life we pray for a lot of things. Some of them come true, some don't. While there are moments when God says no and gives us something better, there are also moments when God simply smiles and says AMEN. Sharing one such moment with you :

The Dazzler

Roshni as her name suggests is a dazzling personality – bright, chirpy, strong, independent, and vivacious with a witty sense of humour. Professionally she is a creative head for a leading magazine and by passion she is a dreamer who dreams of beautiful tomorrows full of sparkling possibilities. She is known in her entire office for her sparkling smile which could make the toughest of hearts smile.  She is affectionate and caring because of which anyone feels comfortable sharing their darkest secrets with her. No wonder she is the undisputed best friend everyone could count on. Life till now has not been easy for her but then even gold has to pass the fire test to prove its mettle. Maybe it is this facet of hers which makes her deal with all that comes her way with a smile, be it bouquets or brickbats. Her only problem is she does not know her self-worth and only a genuine person can see what a gem she really is. For me, she is a MIA woman. A woman who is the epitome ...

Whispering Wednesday

A very sweet fellow blogger, Sridevi ( Do check out her blog HERE ) has started a new section on her blog called ' Threading with words '. It is a very beautiful concept where she picks up a word and shares her thoughts on it. She encouraged Me to use this concept and so was born Whispering Wednesday . Henceforth going forward every Wednesday I will pick one word and thread my words around it with a thought /picture/ quote..in short anything that comes to my mind! This week's word is : DREAM AUGUST STRINDBERG has very truly said in A Madman's Defense, “ I dream, therefore I exist.” We all exist because of our capability to dream. Our dreamlands are the place where we can be ourselves, imagine ourselves doing things we might not do in real life as we don’t have any fear of being ridiculed upon there. Set yourself free to dream – Be the dream and be the achievement of the dream that is uniquely yours. So until next week....Keep Dreaming!!

Mere Sapne [ My dreams]

This post was published in Kaleidoscope Magazine's July 2012 issue
