International Author's Day - Giveaway & Blog Hop

We all are story tellers, aren’t we? What else would you call the way we cook up stories when we want to lie, when we manage to create imaginary characters just to please our children, when we write essays and autobiographies in schools or better still manage to grab the attention at get-togethers as we go about narrating simple day-to-day incidents with a panache that has everybody hooked! My first experience with a real story was the day I had asked my mom the eternal question – Mamma, where did I come from? And my mom very lovingly placed me on her lap to narrate a story which began with the usual Once upon a time. I clearly remember I had asked my mom to narrate this one so many times to me that I had lost count. I loved the part where she said “ And we got you home! ” I just loved the joy that one sentence carried. Perhaps that was the moment I fell in love with stories and with happy endings too!

Giveaway: The Runaway Bridegroom by Sundari Venkatraman ( 14 Feb -28 Feb)

Today is Valentine's Day, the day of love and how it be complete without celebrating what we at Reviews & Musings love the most - books! So here on this occassion we are here participating in a wonderful Blog Hop -Giveaway hosted by Book R3vi3ws. When we talk about romance as a genre there are many names that come to our mind the first being Nicholas Sparks. I started reading romance through Mills & Books like a typical teenager and gradually fell in love with love in those books. Today as the whole world celebrates love, Reviews & Musings brings to you a wonderful book written by Sundari Venkatraman who managed to make me nostalgic by taking me back in my teenage with this book of hers.

One -Two-Ka- Four

Source: Google Images They say writers are not created, they are born, with a zeal to write, to create, to dream, to envisage and to make it all seem true!   Just like all of us I am also a writer, who dreams of creating things which are perhaps beyond the realms of imagination.   Today I present to you a part of me which was hidden amidst all the chaos, hidden yet concrete.
