Fingers intertwined together, I slowly feel your breath
As you pull me closer to kiss on my neck.
"You are beautiful" you whisper as you clutch my face with both your hands
I see a reflection of the love in your eyes which fairytales speak about.
There is nothing else that can describe the magic that we share
Our hearts are muted as our souls bare.
There is a silent music to which our bodies sway
Unearthing deep corners of our heart where our desires lay
I close my eyes letting your fingers caress my face
You grab my waist not letting me shy away from your gaze.
You play with my hair creating ripples in my soul,
Slowly connecting all the dots and making me whole.

I shake my head as I realise I am dreaming once again. We are miles away from each other yet so near... I just have to close my eyes to feel your breath next to mine!

Books on Cinema

For nearly a decade, cinema was a forbidden word like a secret behind a closed door.  And yet, like all things that carry truth and longing, it found its way to me. Stories have a way of finding you, slipping through cracks, whispered between pages, caught in melodies. Sometimes through the corners of borrowed books, sometimes through whispered summaries from classmates, sometimes just through the magnetic pull of posters and songs I wasn’t supposed to hear.

His earlier books had shown that in spite of material and digital comforts in the world today, we are still living a life of dualities. Happiness-unhappiness, good-bad, God-devil, all exist side by side. Following spiritual teachings of gurus or masters do not give the much needed solace; there still seems to be something missing. The mind, with its constant chatter and habit of delving into past experiences and anxieties about the future, does not allow to live in the present moment and be aware in the 'now'.
