About the Authors
While there are a few renowed writers like Paritosh Uttam, Ahmed Faiyaz, Prateek Gupta in this book we also get to read new writers like Kunal Dhabalia, Kainaz Motivala which is refreshingly good.

‘Me’ Thinks
The cover page is equally eye catching making it impossible to miss it. 28 Urban tales by 13 writers as the book cover says; these 13 writers have managed to do a wonderful job connecting these stories spread across a plethora of emotions. The index has been very beautifully done segregating the stories based on emotions.
Relationships –Love-Friendships-Angst-Longing
This book captures the true essence of those urbanites Indians residing around us. It highlights the beauty of different relationships like love and friendship. The stories range from various emotions like longing, hurt, anger, love, hope, regret and acceptance. It also brings out various issues that are a part of urban life like depression. The stories are spanning across various age groups shedding light on their mindsets. This book makes a very interesting reading as it is able to connect to the reader with its lucid style of writing. The language is very simple and easy to understand making it a light read. I wouldn’t be surprised if you finish this in one reading.
Overall a book worth reading once to have a peep at (maybe!!!) your own life through someone else’s eyes!!

Books on Cinema

For a long time, cinema was a world I wasn’t allowed to enter. I grew up in a home where movies were banned. No television, no glimpses of silver screens, and no songs echoing from old classics. For nearly a decade, cinema was a forbidden word like a secret behind a closed door.  And yet, like all things that carry truth and longing, it found its way to me. Stories have a way of finding you, slipping through cracks, whispered between pages, caught in melodies. Sometimes through the corners of borrowed books, sometimes through whispered summaries from classmates, sometimes just through the magnetic pull of posters and songs I wasn’t supposed to hear.
