Paridhi Mathur, dusky, beautiful, and single, is doing everything to keep her academic records high and her love life nil, but lady luck keeps frowning at her.

When she meets Abhigyan Ambastha, rich - devastatingly handsome, intense and sometimes curt, her resolve wavers. Despite regular warnings from her ever-suspicious heart, she inexplicably gets attracted towards him. But she would not let him trespass her soul.

Why? Is she scared of mendacious face of love her past has inflicted on her? Can Paridhi really trust Abhigyan? Will a blissful breeze of love ever kiss her heart?

A heart-warming saga of dreams and desires, We Will Meet Again promises to make you smile and cry at the same time. Hold on to your hearts before embarking on this roller coaster ride of emotions!

Me thinks

All you need in life is love - following this adage is this heart warming story of two lost souls as unique as their names Abhigyan and Paridhi. (I would surely want to know the story behind these names because they are very interesting!)

Written in a very nonchalant tone this book has a very linear plot and a story that many might find cliche. It is the treatment of the issue which makes it different from the other books on similar topics. I like the way the author shows the confusion we all experience at one of time in life through her words. I could relate to those chapters a lot where marriage, career, family and love have been discussed from an Indian girl's perspective. The author has a deep understanding of relationships and that is what reflects clearly through her book. She brings out the nuances of relationships especially in Indian society very well through typical characters like Pammo Aunty, Bua, best friend's mother and a plethora of well wishes a girl seems to inherit the moment she enters her teen! Some scenes were truly nostalgic. Abhigyan is truly endearing and it is touching to see him being a perfect gentleman every single time.

Now coming to what didn't work for me. Two major things - one editing slip ups and ofcourse the characterization of Abhigyan. I wanted to know more about him, in terms of his feelings and his reasons behind his behaviour which I somehow found lacking. Paridhi comes across as someone who could easily be a girl next door. And that makes the story more relatable because it could be anybody's story, yours or mine too!

Overall an excellent attempt for a debut author and strongly recommended for people who enjoy reading simple and mature love stories.

Book Review: Palestine Wail - Poems by Yahia Lababidi

In Palestine Wail: Poems , Yahia Lababidi creates a profound and unflinching exploration of the ongoing Palestinian crisis, drawing from his own heritage and heartbreak to reflect on a political and humanitarian catastrophe that has unfolded across decades. This collection, imbued with personal history, political outrage, and spiritual contemplation, serves as both a witness to injustice and a call to humanity. The work’s origins lie deeply in Lababidi’s own roots—his Palestinian grandmother, Rabiha Dajani, was forced to flee Jerusalem at gunpoint, a traumatic event that reverberates throughout Lababidi’s poetry.  As an Arab-American writer, Lababidi is uniquely positioned to speak on the intersection of identity, politics, and human rights. His poetry, both personal and political, draws a clear line between the suffering of the Palestinian people and the complicity of global powers in perpetuating that suffering. Through his words, Lababidi eloquently counters the equation that Zioni
