Me thinks
Many moons ago I remember reading a book called How to cope with loss of love. Having read it at a time when life was testing me in various ways that book helped me a lot. At that time it was difficult to find a relevant book by any Indian author and though that book talked about things not prominent in our society I had to skip them and work around the other pluses of the book. Cut to 2016 when I found this book and the biggest thing that impressed me about the book is that after a long time I am reading a book by an Indian author where he talks about topics which till few years ago were unheard of in our country.
Neatly sorted into various categories and written in a language that is not only simple but also is communicative in the sense that it speaks directly to the reader this book is very powerful. It has many small exercises given after every chapter which when answered help a distressed mind largely. I liked the tell-tale way in which the book has been written in terms of sharing experiences, stories and also incidents which make us feel that we are not alone in this battle. Somewhere after reading the book you do gather courage to face life a bit more strongly even if you are not suffering from a broken heart this one is surely worth a read for the strength, positivity and hope it holds in its pages.
In my personal belief hearts don't break only because of love. They break even when your career isn't going the way you thought it would, on death of a loved one, or a pet or when you have to let go of a dream. There can be various reasons for a heartbreak and this book deals with all of those and helps you overcome your insecurities.
Strongly recommended for one and all!
