A brand new love
story from the bestselling author of Few Things Left Unsaid, That’s the Way We
Met, and It Started with a Friend Request. The final audition for Rajhans
College’s prestigious music band brings together three contrasting
personalities. Vikrant, a perfectionist, who believes there is onlyone perfect
someone for you. Anamika, a free spirit, who stands up for what she believes is
right. And Yuvi, a die-hard music lover, who can strum the guitar all night long
and still wake up the next morning to drop off his girlfriend. The three become
close friends and start hanging out regularly. So how does Aditya, a stranger,
become a part of their lives? And what happens next? Sorry, You’re Not My Type
is a true story that will redefine friendship, affection, and infatuation.

Me
thinks
Thanks to Random House I
have been reading this author for quite sometime now and to be honest I loved
all his books till now. Ok, before we go ahead one confession. I don’t watch TV
and whatever little I do, I am only on UTV Bindass. It somehow connects with me
at a level where no other channel has been till now.
Now, why am I saying
this? Because this book is exactly what the channel is. Young, truthful,
reality (shocking!!) yet was touching at the same time. This book talks about
love, friendship, dreams, goals and the urban lifestyle of today’s youth in the
most appropriate manner.
The moment I saw the
cover page I thought yet another romantic story from Sudeep which should be
read. But nope, I was wrong. It is not a romantic story. It has drugs, rape,
violence and all that you read in the newspapers every day not exactly making
it romantic but yet there is a feel in it which touches you somewhere. You nod
your head as you this could be true and very much happening to someone around
you at this time and that is exactly what makes this story special – its connect
ability.
I admire the writer’s
style of writing since the very first book and I wasn’t disappointed in this
one. Over all a very breezy read ( I finished in 1 hour 45 mins flat!!) one
that you enjoy when you bored and looking for some ultra mod standard gossip to
entertain you.
This one surely feels
like one of those Emotional Atyachaar stories as you feel pity at one point and
anger in the same breath for the main characters. Recommended for people who
enjoy such light reads especially while travelling for it will make you forget
where you are for a moment – it is that entertaining! You WANT to know what
happens next for sure.
Foodie Verdict
This book is like paneer tikka roll - soft on the outside but crunchy, sweet, sour, tangy and delicious on the inside, a must taste to tease your taste buds!
