The author is a dear friend, whose writing I have always loved since the time we got a chance to work together in an anthology. Since then I have been regularly following her writing through her blogs and Face book posts. When she told me that her solo work was finally releasing I was more than happy for her and had ordered it immediately. No wonder the book was out of stock on Amazon within few hours making me wait a little longer than what I had thought of to read her work. Finally I am here, with the review after having read her work.
The first thing that strikes you about this book is its characters, so completely relatable, real, affable and endearing. It seems as if she has just picked them from the real life and placed them in the story, you cannot help but get an instant connect with them such is there character sketch. The plot is very fine with all the necessary ingredients of a potboiler making it a rich, attention grabbing read.
I have always believed that rarely do we find an untold story in this world, it is the narrative that sets it apart. And this is where according to me the author scores a brownie point. Her narrative is sheer brilliance, not a single dull moment in the book and an absolute entertaining page turner. She has set very high standards for herself when her second book arrives I am sure all her readers will have high expectations from her and no she will not let them down for sure.
