Today I was in your city. After all these years of fighting an internal battle I finally came there.

Random Thoughts

Few days back I saw someone's journey in love- starting with the heady feeling, fluttering of heart, skipping beats, blushes, dreamy look in eyes, unruffled hair, a smile permanently pasted on face, sudden love for anything romantic, the eternal wait reflective on the face, the desire to just listen to the heart............. And finally today I heard the loud THUD when he finally fell in love...  Source: Google Images

Behind a book - Harsh Agarwal

1    Continuing with the author interview series today we have a very young and vibrant author Harsh Agarwal with us here   sharing what writing and books are for him:     Firstly a warm welcome to Reviews and Musings . I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations for new releases that you have lined up as of now. Time’s Lost Atlas as a compiler and then your own Nazaqat. How does it feel? Nervous… excited? Can you please tell us something more about them? Thanks Namrata! It’s a pleasure! Well it feels like a responsible parent whose kids are having an examination coming up. You have expectations, you are nervous, you are excited and you keep on thinking how teachers (readers in this case) will react to it. It’s a mixed state of anxiety, excitement and anticipation. That’s all I can say!  Both of my kids are being published by Half baked beans. Nazaqat is my third full length novel which is about a prostitute who takes this profession on her own will. I

More than life we are more curious about it. What else would you call when you see people having after death stories to narrate, wanting to experience past life, curious about when will they die, how will they die etc.   I to be honest am not curious about death, but yes life mystifies me. I have always wanted to learn more about it and this book seemed like a ready to read hand book on life. Book Review: My life By Brett Lee and James Knight

Introduction ·          ISBN – 978-8-184-00191-4 ·          Genre: Autobiography/ Sport ·          Publishers: Random House ·          Price: Rs. 499/- ( I got this book from the publisher for a review ) I have not been much of a cricket enthusiast. But there is something about this game that is addictive. Call it the money, the name, the fame or purely the adrenalin rush when you see INDIA win! I have always closely followed the lives of few cricketers for it inspires me to read how they went to become someone from no-one and will soon become a no-one once their cricket career is over. The biggest reason why I wanted to read this book was it is was an autobiography and I always believe that such books help in knowing an individual better than just having a biography written by someone. And needless to say Brett Lee is a cricketer I always wanted to know more about. Behind The book Source: Google Images When I put the cap on, the crowd cheered. I did not w

Doctor, teacher, pilot but today when I asked the same question the only answer I have is I want to be happy. After all that is what our life has been reduced to, a never ending pursuit of happiness! What attracted me to this book was the name of the book for that is the question I keep asking myself many times not to receive any satisfactory answers.  Behind The book Source: Google Images This book talks about the most important thing in your life… about happiness. We all want success, prosperity, financial gains and some of ius also desire recognition and fame, but when we look closer, the core question that each one of us stops and asks oneself every now and then is AM I REALLY HAPPY
