All that I am is a writer....

When I began blogging I had heard it many times that there is a lot of difference between  bloggers and writers. I always disagreed to this for I believe each one of us is a writer. We could be scribbling in our diary, blogging, writing poetry or having full fledged novels to our credit. We write and that is what matters.

Today after 2.5 years of blogging when my first book is about to release ( You can read about it HERE) It leaves me with mixed emotions when the word AUTHOR is also attached to me. As a blogger I have been interviewed many times but as an author this is my first time and "firsts" are always special.

Nothing can be more special for Me than this. I would like to thank Gina Mcknight for making this experience all the more special for me by hosting me on her blog with an interview.

A lover of words, paper, and memoirs - Well this is what she has to say about Me; to read the full interview click HERE.

Thank you so much for all your love, always. Without that this would not have been possible.

This collection, imbued with personal history, political outrage, and spiritual contemplation, serves as both a witness to injustice and a call to humanity. The work’s origins lie deeply in Lababidi’s own roots—his Palestinian grandmother, Rabiha Dajani, was forced to flee Jerusalem at gunpoint, a traumatic event that reverberates throughout Lababidi’s poetry.  As an Arab-American writer, Lababidi is uniquely positioned to speak on the intersection of identity, politics, and human rights.
