Book Review – Thinking Aloud By Priya Kumar

Introduction ISBN: 978-938186038-0 Category: Self Help Publishers: Embassy Books Price: Rs. 195/- (This book was sent to me by the author for a review) Words have the power to make or mar a person. And quotations have the power to create a magical impact in very few words. No wonder I love them and I begin my day with one such quote each day depending on my mood. I have a huge collection of such books as they inspire me in more than one ways. I was more than happy when I received an email from the author’s office asking me to review this wonderful book on quotes written by the author.  I have heard a lot about the author’s previous works especially I am another you and I was looking for an opportunity to read her books. This email felt like a God-sent opportunity to me as I had great expectations from the author and I was not disappointed.  Behind the book Source: Google Images A collection of original thoughts on the subjects that matter in life.

Book Review: Business Sutra – A very Indian Approach to management by Devdutt Pattanaik

Introduction   ISBN: 978-81-923280-7-2 Category: Business Publishers: Aleph Price: Rs. 695/-  ( I got this book from Blog Adda for review) As you might have guessed by now I am a voracious reader and I literally gobble up books be it fiction, nonfiction, self help or business. I fell in love with Devdutt Pattanaik’s writing when I read his 99 thoughts o n Ganesha. His grip on mythology with added knowledge the lucid style of writing had me hooked and I can claim proudly I am huge fan of his after that. I had mentally vowed that day to read each and every book written by him. The day I saw this book up for review the most striking feature which pushed me to apply for it was its blurb and the cover page. In an instant I knew I had to read this one. Am not I lucky that I was selected to read this one? ( Especially when it is currently out of stock on all leading book stores!! ) Behind the book Source: http://bit.ly/Z4XgSd ‘As is belief, so is behavior,

Q is for Quintessential Me Many of my blogger friends have always complained about not knowing much me through my blogs, so here are few lines which I feel describe Me in the best possible manner: A private banker by the day, a writer by the night. A bibliophile somewhere in between, juggling between being a dreamer and a hopeless lover with all the might ~ Well that’s Me,   and this is what I would want to be always!

Book Review – Resemblance – The journey of a doppelganger – by Arti Honrao

Introduction I have known Arti for the past couple of years and have always admired her writing style for its simplicity and emotions. I was one of the few lucky people to have ordered this book when she had kept it on Pothi for few days just for selected audience.   And I must say I am feeling really on top of the world to have read such a wonderful tale of love and relationships. Behind the book About the Author Arti Honrao has a passion for different genres of writing and hence was born Sfth, a platform to showcase her poems, short stories, quotes and sensible articles. Most of her writing depicts human feelings and emotions, which she tries to bring out onto the page and into the minds of the reader. She believes that the essence of writing lies in not only entertaining the reader, but speaking to them through her words.   O is for Oxymoron (55 fiction) “ Ahh…. .” she winced in joyous pain as she felt the tremor one more time in her stomach making her almost jump on the bed and thought motherhood is such a wonderful stage to be in, a kick from the baby also feels like a soft caress. No wonder I am smiling despite all the pain.
